DU to add 2000 new seats

Delhi University will add 2,000 more seats from this session.

The new courses include mathematics (Hons) in Gargi College and Delhi College of Arts and Commerce, political science (Hons) at St. Stephen’s College and sociology (Hons) in Indraprastha College for Women. Aryabhatta College will have computer science (Hons), history, psychology and mathematics (Hons) and sociology (Hons) in Indraprastha College for Women.

Other educational institutions, including Bharti College, Ramanujan College and Daulat Ram College, may also add a few new courses. Recently, the university decided to grant 32 seats each for science courses followed by 40 seats each for arts. S.G.T.B. Khalsa College will also introduce one new course — B.Sc. in forensic science.
