Under the aegis of Delhi University Sustainability Forum, Shaheed Bhagat Singh College brings for all a Photography Competition based on theme, “Transforming India and Sustainable Lives”.

 

Guidelines to be followed:

Participation : Individual

Number of images:2

Size : 15MB maximum and the organiser may request for higher resolution images.

Format : JPEG and at least 1,600 pixels wide for a horizontal image or 1,600 pixels tall for a vertical image.

Subject of mail : DUSF National Photography Competition- (Name of the Participant)

Body of Mail : Captions/Description (Between 50-100 words relevant to the theme)

                       EXIF information of photographs (Shutter speed, Aperture, Focal Length, Camera Model, ISO).

Some important points:

 

• Digital manipulation that distorts the reality of the images will not be acceptable. Only basic enhancements such as sharpening, contrast adjustment, or simple cropping will be allowed.

• The file name for each image should be clearly labelled with the caption

• Images copies from any other sources will be considered as Plagiarism and lead to direct disqualification.

• Photographs will be evaluated on the basis of Originality, Technical excellence, Composition and Overall impact and relevance to theme.

• Decisions of the judges will be final and binding.

 

Participation Certificates will be provided to all the participants.

 

The Secretariat reserves the right to reject images with incomplete details required under the photo submission page

 

All submitted images are non-returnable and will be considered as a property of DUSF & Harithkram for Marketing or promotional purposes in future.

 

The selected photographs will be displayed at an exhibition to be held during the Conference.

 

The submission deadline is 20th September, 2016.
