DU’s Joint Admission Test process for admission to B-courses begins April 11​

 

Just when you thought that post the atrocious Board exams, you will have your days of fun, University of Delhi has announced that it will begin its admission process for management courses through the Joint Admission Test (JAT) from April 11.

 

DU JAT 2016 is a national level entrance test which is conducted for candidates seeking admission in the following four courses – Bachelor of Financial Investment and Analysis (BFIA), Bachelor of Business Economics (BBE), Bachelor of Management Studied (BMS) and Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS).

 

“The online registration for postgraduate courses and JAT courses will begin from April 11 and end on May 15. We will issue an official communication in some days,” a senior official said. The university is likely to announce the dates on Monday. The online process for admission to the postgraduate courses will be carried out during the same timeline. Unlike the previous year, the admission process to the postgraduate courses is completely online this year. On enquiring, an official told that all details about the online application process can be obtained from DU’s official website i.e. du.ac.in.

 

JAT will be conducted on June 5 this year. For the postgraduate courses, the entrance exams will begin in the first week of June. Also, the admission process for Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and Bachelor of Elementary Education (BElEd), LLB and LLM will also begin from April 11.  This year the postgraduate applicants will be fighting for about 5000 seats in postgraduate courses, 2600 seats in LLB, 100 seats in LLM, 150 seats in B.Ed and 1,000 seats in BE l Ed.
