Esya’16 is back with FOQS, the photography contest for all the passionate photographers out there.

The event will comprise of two rounds.
The first will be an online theme-based preliminary round. This will be followed by an on-site theme-based round on the first day of the fest.
The announcement of winners will be announced by the judges on the second day followed by an exhibition set-up for displaying the top entries in the contest.
The Online Preliminary Round has started!
The 8 themes are as follows
1. Threes in Nature 
2. Abandoned
3. Vintage
4. Silhouettes
5. Streets
6. Emotions
7. Long Exposure
8. Reflections
Each participant can submit a maximum of 3 photographs along with a caption from the themes provided. Only ONE photo per theme is allowed. 
The photograph should be sent via e-mail to esya.foqs@gmail.com along with the caption, theme, participant’s name, college and contact number.
No photograph should have any watermark or copyright.
Themes are open to interpretation and no clarifications will be made regarding the same.
Editing of photos is allowed, but there are no bonus marks for aggrandized editing.
Photos will be judged on originality, technical and aesthetic prowess, composition, overall impact, artistic merit and relevance to the theme.
The winners of the preliminary round will be selected for the on-site contest to be held on 19th Aug.
