Alaap, the Indian Music Society of Indraprastha College for Women cordially invites you to Ninaad- Annual Indian Music Fest on 12th March 2016.

The list of events under the same are as follows:
1. INDIAN CLASSICAL CHOIR

Rules:
• One entry per college ONLY.
• Maximum of 3 accompanists allowed excluding tanpura.
• Time Limit- 10+2 minutes.
• There should be a minimum of 6 and maximum 16 participants.
• Recorded music or any Bollywood tracks are not allowed.
• The composition should be completely original and only Indian Classical Compositions are allowed.
• There will be an online preliminary round. Selected groups will move on to the final round.
• Registration of all selected teams on the final day is imperative.

Please send audio/video clip with the college and society name, name and mobile number of society president and names of all the members to alaap.ipcw@gmail.com .

2. SEMI CLASSICAL INDIAN SOLO

Rules:
• Only 2 entries per college allowed.
• Maximum of 2 accompanists excluding tanpura is allowed.
• Time limit of 4+2 minutes.
• Recorded music not allowed.
• Participants to strictly adhere to the semi classical genre (thumri, ghazal, khayal, dadra etc.)
• No on the spot registrations are allowed. Registration of all selected candidates on the final day is imperative.

Registrations for both the events should be done by 5th March 2016 positively. No more registrations will be entertained beyond that date.
