A book is your best friend which opens your opportunities to a world of fascination, thrill and self discovery ". Since the times of Gutenberg, Man has realised the spectacular power of books , though the power of knowledge was acknowledged a priori. The Protestant Revolution and the age of Renaissance in Medieval Europe is a testament to the all consuming  power of books.

In the age of computers, books are not a luxury but a necessity. It even expands the horizons of a slum child who has nothing to see but darkness. It given him the chance to envision a world full of gaiety, ostentatious monuments and exciting stuff. The power to know about the other part of the world or about the edge of universe is simply serendipitous . Call it an appeal or a retrospective thought, but all children whether prince or pauper must have access to books and notebooks so that they can atleast dream.
